Niece :)

This is an older one... when I decided I'd make protraits, she was the first I'd drawn after a long while... :)

So now...

My latest work of art... :) since I started drawing protraits and posting on Facebook... well all of my friends decided they wanted one of themselves... so the requests keep coming. The only problem is, I'm out of paper... and out of time. I can't do ths no more so I'll take a break... I'll be back to art in a few... weeks :) as for now... this is what.

Still life

SO now I've taken to drawing people. Faces mostly. and its good practice... I think. Since I have a lot of time now, I do that :D
This is... well my niece. she's the sweetest thing ever! :)

This too... is a bit aged. But I like it. Evil? I don't think so... I like to think of it as... conceptual :)

Now for smething recent.... This is cartoon-ish and maybe a bit girly but I loved how it came out :D

Something Old

As a child I loved drawing... on walls and my sister's notebooks. I can still recall having my older sister scold me for drawing on my younger sister's school notebooks. As I got older I had this girl give me one class, and from there I took off. My art was still out of context with big lips small bodies and big heads... slowly my art started evoluting into something that didn't quite hurt your eyes that much. I later had another couple of lessons with pastels and chalky colors.... but I never really had a thing for colors. a while later I took like 3 classes out of a course with another teacher... but that didn't last long either. But I kept going... By the time I was 13 my art improved and I created things out of my imagination. Fantasy was always my favortie subject for drawing. A few days ago I found this... I drew it when I was 13 :)

For a while I drew faries and the such... then people. I was never good with animals or plants and I always imagined I'd draw something worth posting on my wall... but that never really happened.
As of now (5 years later) I can draw portraits (somethign i was never able to do until recently) and the such. For now... this is it. I'll post more later.

More art...

A couple of weeks ago i took some time to get back to my art... it had been quite some time and it really helped to get my mind out of the rubble it had been in... yes, i think drawing is like a therapy and for me specially ... who at all times have so much in my mind... it gave me some(one) thing to concentrate on for a bit .... and now for the grand masterpiece.....

So far it has been the best drawing I've ever done! and tho it did take some time, it was completely worth it :)

I fell in love....

Yes! I fell in desperately and hopelessly in love.... with art again!! The magic created by the strokes of a lead pencil against plain white paper creating an image of beauty and perfection, giving life to things only imaginable.

So um the other day (yeah some days back) I got a pencil, and i started doodling... and I guess this is the best i have been able to do .....

So with my left hand I can draw like this:

Ok, ok, that was crayons but hey, they make good art supplies too :)

So that's a little stick(person) being catapulted into the ... water i guess.. and feeling the rush of adrenaline as he says 'Weeee' (meaning he's having a lot of fun and enjoying it) 

I got major teasing about this one ... but that's another story :D so yeah that's the best i could do with my left... see? i told you i can use both my hands awesomely...

so my left hand can only aspire to draw like this:

Well this is my right hand... best I have done yet.

I had only tried drawing out of a picture... never succeeding but this... this is my first (of many to come) masterpiece taken from a picture :)

 sigh... gosh i love those eyes! like, seriously! I got to appreciate this guy much more when I took in perspective the whole picture to draw it, every little detail... ahh the eyes... i love the eyes... :) okei enough about the eyes...ahem, (don't tell him i put this picture here okei? ;) :D)
