Camping With The Scouts...

That was a first... I hadn't been able to camp out with the scouts so far. Since I've been overwhelmed with school and a lot of things fill my schedules lately... Last weekend I finally took some time to camp out :)
It was a great experience!
SO... what we did: Saturday 3:30 pm... we met at the Bus Station, took the bus to this tiny pueblo -gins-  from there we took a taxi to the waterfalls... wait... waterfalls?! :O yeah... well by the time we got to the waterfalls it was almost dark, so first thing we did... look for firewood. there wasn't a lot of it... mostly were twigs ... plus it was super humid... so you can imagine, our fire turned out to look more of a smoke signal than anything else :P...

Now, for dinner we had quesadillas and beans... and these hot dogs.... enourmos hot dogs... and tiny hot dogs :P we cooked it all in the fire (yeah, I feel so accomplished)

Our super cool chef made for us a cup of hot chocolate... 'twas soo good! cause damn it was cold!! like freakishly cold!

I do have to admit... sleeping in the same tens as 5 other people does keep you warm :D altho my sleep was horrblue (cause i slept on the floor... and i'm used to my matress) I had a great time!

Next morning we woke up with... (I would say the sunrise... but it was soo cloudy we couldn't see the sun...) the cold... and turned out smoke signal on once more... (to heat up and stuff)
when we were hungry we started cooking.... PAncakes!! yeah.. bottle bancakes :P the kind you justadd milk to and cook... :D

So a hungry dog came along... and he looked so miserable... we just wanted to feed him! so we did... gave him the leftover from last night's hotdogs and some left over milk, beans and tortillas, he was one happy dog in the end

So.... we picked our camp up, and walked along the top of the waterfall... it was a small waterfall.. nevertheless a pretty one :)

So .... there was a reason forthis camp... :D One of the blue ones was becoming red... (remeber when I got my red shirt?) yeaahh! like that.. but cooler. she got to walk blindfolded among all the rocks!

So once we finihsed our ceremony we decided to take off... they gave us a ride into a tiny pueblito... and we took "la convi" to the next pueblito (where we take the bus back home)

Once we got to the pueblito, we stopped for soemthign to eats... we ate some quesadillas with some delicios stuff in it! ... Ice cream and candy!! whoot!
